After the tour……into the Studio….

Wow its good to be home! The Dexter Jones national tour wrapped up in Melbourne; what a show! We had a great time playing in WA, the venues, the scene -awesome. We can’t wait to get back and we will see you all very soon. Big thanks to all the fans for their support over the course of the tour. Massive thanks to The Dissapointed & The Spitfires and especially Mark Neal, we couldn’t have done it without you.

 No rest for the Jones’  we’re back in the studio writing and working on new material, also polishing up a couple of old favorites for our upcoming album.

Our Next show is @ the Jetty Bar Glenelg on Saturday 8th December.

Adelaide Clipsal 500, After Race Concert!!!

As most of you (should) know, we won the ‘Bands On Track,’ competition back in January and have since played in front of an AMAZING crowd at Adelaide Clipsal 500.We’re going to share some photos throughout this blog for your viewing pleasure!

Holden or Ford?

"Matt Soang on Rip It Up TV"

Hey Peeps! Ben and Matt popped into Fowlers last night (whilst Fletty was sleeping and Kristy had some sort of brain pain..) to catch the last finals for the Bands on Track. Our highlights were Hawks of Alba and Lady Strangelove, the latter taking out the Grand prize to support the Good Charlotte, Living End and Spiderbait. Whilst we were there, we were ushered back stage to do a cheeky interview with RIU TV.. video will be posted soon. Happy oz day!

Winners of Bands On Track

Hi All! 2012 for the Dexter camp seems to be shaping up nicely! Our latest exciting news is winning the “Bands On Track” comp on Thursday @ Fowlers live. The prize? Well… We get to share the stage with INXS, Vanessa Amorosi  and Mark Seymour

& the Undertow, at the after race concert of the Clipsal 500, Saturday, the 3rd March! Get your tickets here. We would like to thank all the awesome bands that competed aswell; Adelaide has some Killer bands!

Other news we are pumped about…. We are working with Tinderbox music and HIP video in the United States, to infect the American airwaves and cable tv channels with Dexter Jones as of Feb 14th…Ooo valentines day.. What a coincidence?? After this we are planning to head over to the US in July/Aug 2012 for the first time….Sweet!

Bands On Track

Locally in Adelaide we have a show on Saturday, the 18th Feb @ The Jetty Bar, Glenelg, with our buddies JONSEZ from Melbs, they are awesome! Check them out and like their fb page HERE, entry is FREE!
